International Holzmesse

The International Wood Fair in Klagenfurt finished on 31.08.2024 after four successful days. The trade fair impressed with “diversity and innovation”, as stated in the press release. In total, the International Wood Fair counted 500 exhibitors from 20 countries and around 21,000 trade visitors.

On customer request, RFID chips can now be integrated into our circular saws. With the help of RFID technology, numerous cost, logistics and technical parameters can be recorded in the corresponding software.

This significantly increases the efficiency of the saws and allows evaluations to be displayed at a glance.

The saved tool geometry can be transferred to the sharpening machine, which adjusts itself fully automatically. Sharpening times and costs can be recorded and saved.

Inventory at the touch of a button, analyses, cost recording and logistics simplification are just some of the advantages of this technology.

The trade fair was a real success for TKM Austria, as we were able to book several orders and hold numerous promising discussions.

We are already looking forward to the next edition of the International Wood Fair from September 2 - 5, 2026!
