The principle of ths eKnife is based on a re-useable cutting blade concept. The body or holder is sustainable and multiple useable, the wear is concentrated onto the mechanical fixed blade only.
The blade is available in different material grades, re-grindable and re-useable. The operator stays independent and fully flexible to the personal needs and demands. The blade can be serviced up to 10 times and is re-sharpened independent from the knife holder. By separating the holder and the blade in the service, a weight reduction up to 90 % can be achieved. This makes knife service costs significant lower and which contributes to a reduction in CO2 emissions as well.
