Doctor Blade Analysis

TKM Meyer GmbH offers customers an analysis of their doctor blades. Different analyses, such as cross-sectional and doctor blade angle analysis, are performed. An exact doctor blade angle can be determined 100% bya doctor blade angle analysis only. Due to many influences on the printing machine, such as cylinder circumference, NIP, doctor blade pressure setting or hydrodynamic pressure, a determination of the doctor blade angle is very unreliable.

Grinding Service

Our circular knives can optionally be provided with a specially polished grinding on both sides. This leads to a significant increase in service life and less dust formation. For particularly high-quality surfaces, we lap the cutting tools - or grind them in the classic way.

Repair Service

In addition to folding and counter-flaps, gripper bars and pads as well as traps are also processed. You can expect the TKM spare parts we repaired to have the same manufacturing tolerances as our newly manufactured parts. If required, we replace the Vulkollan® inserts or re-coat the surfaces with different ceramics or tungsten carbides. On demand, we support the reconditioning process with measurement reports, which record the condition of the component before and after the repair.
