- In particular cases shear blades may break through. This occurs rarely and is usually caused by incorrect mounting of the shear blades.
- The following reasons may cause breakage of shear blades :
- The contact area is not flat
- The contact area is dirty
- Mechanical stresses caused by installation
- Mechanical overload
