If the concentricity axial as radial is not given, it can influence the drive of the slitter and lead to breaks on the knives – especially with carbide knives.
- Clean the knife holder
- Replace bearings
- Setup knives with torque wrench and tighten screws crosswise
Recommendation:
The concentricity should ≥0,03 mm axial and radial, the axial concentricity should be ≥0,01 mm on the anvil
