Glue on the blade

Glue on the blade is a quite common problem for most customers. Most of the time we talk about the transfer glue and/or the tail seal glue. Attention: The tail seal glue is a lot of times transparent and difficult to see!

Glue has various disadvantages:

• The glue contaminates the grinding wheels
• The glue increases the friction between blade and roll
• The glue increases the force from the blade against the roll
• Glue will pull at the cut tissue fibers and result in a fuzzy cut.
