S-Cut

The cut block/prism displays a s-shaped progression, which is parallel but not straight. These sawn timber products are not suitable for sale.

Possible causes:

Unstable conduction of the stem

Re-adjustment of the wedge (centring); inspect the track of the wagon for straightness – if necessary, re-adjust

Worn draw-in roller

Dismantlement and replacement/repair (welding, coating) of the roller

Parallelism of the saw in the cutting direction is not ensured

Inspection of the set-up by relevant angle measuring instrument
