Tooth breakage (edging)

The customer notices a poor cutting surface, caused by one or more broken or missing tooth/teeth.

This error could have been caused by the following:

Foreign bodies in the wood

Inspect metal detectors and assemble saw blade newly

Bad joint (wrong temperature, littering, soldering parameters etc during the production process)

Saw blade needs to be re-tipped –perhaps solder (up) embedded carbide teeth

Wrong number of teeth

Feed speed needs to be adjusted to the number of teeth a/o new designing of the saw
