Upward cut
An efficiency loss during the saw cut is noticeable and a feed is not attainable. At the same time an excessive reject of sawdust to the top is detectable.
The thicknesses of the board start to differ.
Possible causes:
Projection of the gang saw does not correspond with the stems’ feed.- Adjust the frame and set-up (due to OEM); control the gang saws’ bolts – if necessary, re-position
- correct re-grinding of the tooth (shouldn’t be too flat; at least 14° back-clearance angle recommendation
